Brooke Leiman MA, CCC-SLP, BCS-F is a Board Certified Specialist in Fluency Disorders and is the Director of the Stuttering Clinic at National Therapy Center. In her time with NTC, she has worked with preschoolers, school-aged children and adults who stutter. In 2014, she was selected to be on ASHA’s Coordinating Committee Project Team, which helped develop the practice portal on Childhood Fluency Disorders. The following year, Brooke was accepted into ASHA's Leadership Development Program, a year-long program for ASHA members dedicated to giving back to the profession through volunteering. Brooke was also elected to the Coordinating Committee for ASHA's Special Interest Group for Fluency Disorders for the 2017-2019 term. Brooke co-facilitated DC's first one day workshop for the organization FRIENDS (The National Association of Young People Who Stutter) and was a presenter at the FRIENDS annual conference in 2016 and 2017. Brooke hosts a blog, www.stutteringsource.com, that is focused on building awareness and knowledge of stuttering and its treatment.
